Fantastic Neighborhood 30: The Dreamcast Special

To celebrate the recent thirteenth anniversary of the Sega Dreamcast’s US release, we cordially welcome you to our special Dreamcast episode. We play the good, the bad, the weird, and the classic. Consumption Junction featured Crazy Taxi 2, NFL2K, 18 Wheeler:American Pro Trucker, Sega Rally 2, Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, Cannon Spike, and Sonic Adventure.

All old games, right? Wrong, because then we talk about three upcoming new releases for Sega’s last system (Redux, Sturmwind, and Gunlord) and the brand new re-release of Jet Set Radio. Then we run down our personal top 5s, followed by a special Game Club segment for Shenmue, featuring a call from everyone’s favorite time traveler: CJ, AKA PauseDa90s.

Lastly, we take your calls and letters. Next week’s Game Club is Home.

As always, you can reach us at letters@fantasticneighborhood.com, or by calling 720.HOODIE.6 (720.466.3436). Follow Fred, Jon, and the show on Twitter and like us on Facebook.
