Fantastic Neighborhood 21: Watching Standard Definition is Like Vomiting in Your Own Eyes

Welcome back to our regularly scheduled program. In Consumption Junction, Fred talks about M13 – the dangerous Peruvian gang of Magic card dealers, finally reaching level 60 in Diablo – and not liking it, and the joy of accumulating more games than you have time to play! Jon brings a bit more to the table, including falling in love with the flawed Amazing Spider-Man and getting all dick-hard over 3D on his new TV (including How to Train Your Dragon and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary). Portably, Jon got infatuated with and then got frustrated with Tower of Fortune, and took in the animated FMV goodness of The Acticon, which it turns out uses awesomely animated, hand-drawn sprites.

Then we premiere our new Hype Bonanza section, where we discuss what’s new that has us excited. Topics this week include NiGHTS, Steam sales, and Felicia Day Controversy. And while we’re waiting for that Steam sale, Jon picked up Binary Domain and Spec Ops: The Line on the cheap. Then, we have our check-in for Amnesia: The Dark Descent, which is spoooooooky.
