Fantastic Neighborhood Podcast Episode 6

Watch out for that first step, it’s a duh-huh-hoozey. I don’t know why I’m opening with a Groundhog Day joke, but that’s a classic.

Welcome to our first episode from our new world headquarters in the neighborhood the site is named for: Bushwick.

Jon talks about Mass Effect 3, its multiplayer, its iOS datapad app, and Mass Effect Infiltrator (also on iOS). This evolves into a discussion of micro-transactions and gouging. He also read The Hunger Games, which Fred hates because it’s popular.

Fred takes a trip to DC to check out the Art of the Videogame exhibition at the Smithsonian and meets his hero, Billy Mitchell. He also got motion sick reading The Dark Tower.

Then the usual segments. Be sure to sponsor friend of a friend of the show, Paul Bearer of Sheer Terror, doing a walk for Autism Speaks. Next week’s game club is any Tim Schafer jaunt. Have fun!
